How to Configure Workspace Settings

Your workspace is your organization’s home in ChatbotIQ. Here’s how to manage its settings and your personal profile.

Go to Settings in the sidebar to access workspace configuration. You’ll need Admin or Owner permissions.

Change your workspace name at any time. This is displayed in the dashboard and in team invitations.

Set the billing currency and the workspace locale (which controls language and regional formatting). Currency cannot be changed while you are on a paid plan.

The Security tab shows account-level security information for your own account:

  • Sign-in method — whether you sign in with Google, email one-time code (OTP), or both.
  • Account created — the date your account was created.
  • Login history — a record of recent sign-ins (date, method, IP, and device).

Note: MCP API keys are configured per bot in that bot’s MCP tab, not in workspace settings.

Use your own domain for MCP endpoint URLs instead of the default app.chatbotiq.ai. See Use a custom MCP domain for setup instructions.

Configure email notification preferences for your workspace, such as alerts when credits are running low.

  • Data export — request an export of all your workspace data.
  • Deletion request — request deletion of your user account. Your account is anonymized (rather than hard-deleted, to preserve billing and audit integrity), with a 7-day grace period before the request is processed.
  • Delete account — submit a GDPR account-deletion request. This anonymizes your account after a 7-day grace period; it is not an immediate, irreversible wipe. There is no self-service workspace deletion in the dashboard — full workspace deletion is handled by ChatbotIQ support (platform admin) on request.

Go to Profile (click your avatar in the sidebar) to manage your personal settings:

  • Name — your display name shown to teammates.
  • Email — the email associated with your account.
  • Avatar — your profile picture.
  • Auth provider — shows whether you signed in with Google or email.
  • Password — manage your password if using email authentication.

Note: Profile settings are personal to you and apply across all workspaces you belong to.
